Spiritual Tools for Healing

By the time something has appeared in the physical form, it was already percolating somewhere in the ethers. Perhaps our thoughts, fears, the 'hoping something doesn’t happen’ (then it does), or maybe even somewhere down our line of genetics and decades later the switch was finally flipped.

The funny thing with whether it’s the last few pounds, or even balancing out those hormones, or other concerns, the habits we are prompted to adjust can actually not only benefit our health, but also our life! For example, if we choose to view concerns as a ‘what can I learn?’, perhaps it’s giving us a time to explore new vegetables, or that new activity we’ve been meaning to get to- and now you have a whole new set of friends! Or maybe just a new outlook on life.

There’s a saying that spirituality helps us deal with the day to day, but I believe it’s so much more than that. It’s also being able to listen to your body without attachment to what ‘should’ be done, or ‘should’ be eating, and if there’s any resistance- ask yourself why.

In fact, here are some of my favorite tools for healing when it comes to working with nature, loving/ appreciating your journey, and going inwards:

🌛Moon Sign
Do you feel off, more emotional or an increase in cravings? In astrology, the moon rules how we process emotions. When the moon is in your sign we tend to feel things more intensely. Take pen to paper and journal your feelings then see if this correlates with your moon sign. Check out the Co-star app for your unique birth chart.

🌿Hawthorn
One of my favorite herbs for when I'm feeling discouraged about weight loss/health efforts. Take Hawthorn solid extract or mix into a tea. On a spiritual level, Hawthorn ignites the heart chakra to promote self-love and compassion. Physically, this herb calm downs the nervous system (aka also reduces cortisol, a main culprit when it comes to weight & hormone imbalance) so we can process why these particular emotions are present.

✨Self-limiting beliefs
Write down your limiting beliefs and explore where they came from. Are these influences from friends, family, the media?

And of course, if you’d like to learn more, then let’s chat more and explore how I can be of help!
